Gold in the Hills Auditions

“Gold in the Hills” Sat. Jan. 29, 2011, 2 p.m. & Mon. Jan. 31, 2011, 6 p.m. The Guinness Book of World Records' longest-running show. Set in the 1890s, it features a relentless hero, a winsome heroine, a ruthless villain, and the wilder side of city life in the infamous New York Bowery. Vicksburg Parkside Playhouse, 101 Iowa Ave. Cast: actors and actresses ages six through adult, and singers and dancers ages teen through adult. There are a few parts for children and numerous parts for teens and adults. Can-can dancers must be at least in the 9th grade. Production dates: Fri.-Sat.
